Gordon Dam
We tried to get here last year but didn't make it and after the issues with the car we nearly didn't make it again. This dam is the largest double curved dam in the southern hemisphere, holding back the waters of Lake Gordon which in turn is supplied from Lake Pedder. It is quite a spectacle and, I must admit, my stomach flipped a couple of times when looking over the edge. It presents a great photo opportunity.
